Tradescantia spathacea — 7" Noah
Tradescantia spathacea (Oyster Plant) forms a sculptural rosette with glossy green leaves and purple undersides—bold color that reads modern without needing flowers. It stays tidy but will slowly clump, adding volume over time.
Styled in a 7″ Noah Tripod ceramic pot with drainage. Rooted in our breathable, well-draining Androots soil blend — no repotting necessary; just place and enjoy.
Care Instructions
Light: Bright, indirect light to a bit of gentle direct sun. Color deepens with brighter light.
Water: Let the top 1–2″ dry between waterings; avoid soggy soil.
Humidity: Adaptable to average home humidity.
Soil: Excellent drainage — our mix includes potting soil, orchid bark, charcoal, and perlite.
Temperature: 65–85°F; protect from cold drafts or hot, dry vents.
Growth Tips: Remove older lower leaves to keep the rosette crisp. Offsets can be divided to propagate new plants.
