Tradescantia fluminensis 'Vintage'
This variegated tradescantia has crisp green-and-cream striping and a bright, airy look that instantly lifts a shelf, desk, or windowsill. It’s a fast grower that’s easy to shape, trim it back for fullness or let it trail over the edge.
Styled in a unique 4” cubic vintage vessel with drainage for a one-of-a-kind, sculptural silhouette. Hand-potted in our well-draining Androots soil blend.
Details
Plant: Tradescantia fluminensis (variegated inch plant)
Pot: 4" cubic vintage-style planter
Drainage: Yes — with drainage
Included: Plant + pot, fully potted and ready to display
Note: Each vintage vessel is unique; there is only one ever in stock
Care Instructions
Light: Bright, indirect light is best to keep the striping crisp. Tolerates medium light; avoid harsh direct afternoon sun.
Water: Water when the soil is about 40-50% dry. Fully saturate until water drains, then let it drain completely.
Humidity: Average home humidity is great.
Temperature: 65–85°F is ideal. Keep away from cold drafts.
Growth Tips: Pinch/trim regularly to encourage a fuller plant. Cuttings root easily if you want to propagate.
