Tradescantia Fluminensis 3"
Tradescantia fluminensis is a cascading beauty with elongated green leaves brushed with clean white striping. Fast-growing and easy-care, it makes a striking trailing accent on shelves, desktops, or in hanging planters.
Styled in a 3” classic dark terracotta pot with drainage. Rooted in our breathable, well-draining Androots soil blend with no repotting necessary.
Care Instructions
Light: Thrives in bright, indirect light. Some direct morning sun brings out stronger striping, but avoid harsh afternoon rays.
Water: Water when the top 1–2 inches of soil are dry. Prefers slightly even moisture but tolerates drying between waterings.
Humidity: Adaptable to average indoor humidity; grows best with moderate humidity.
Soil: Requires excellent drainage. Our mix includes potting soil, orchid bark, charcoal, and perlite.
Temperature: Ideal range is 65–85°F. Protect from frost or prolonged cold drafts.
Growth Tips: Naturally fast-growing and trailing. Pinch back stems to encourage fuller growth. Very easy to propagate from cuttings.
