Hemionitis arifolia 'Heart Leaf Fern'

$24.99

Delicate yet striking, the Heart Leaf Fern features petite, glossy, heart-shaped leaves on wiry black stems. Its sculptural form and rich green foliage make it a unique accent for shelves, terrariums, or humid spots like kitchens and bathrooms. While it has a soft, romantic look, this fern prefers consistency and moisture to thrive.

Each plant is potted in our custom Androots soil blend, designed to support healthy roots while holding the gentle humidity this plant loves.

Care Tips

Light: Bright, indirect light is ideal. Can tolerate lower light but avoid harsh direct sun, which may scorch the leaves.
Water: Keep the soil lightly moist at all times—never fully dry or soggy. Water when the top ½ inch of soil begins to feel dry.
Humidity: Prefers high humidity (60%+). Place near a humidifier, group with other plants, or keep in a bathroom with good lighting.
Soil: Requires a rich but well-draining mix. Our blend includes potting soil, orchid bark, charcoal, and perlite to retain moisture without waterlogging.
Temperature: Thrives in 65–80°F. Avoid cold drafts or dry, hot air from vents.
Housekeeping: Trim dry fronds at the base to encourage healthy growth. Avoid letting the soil dry out fully between waterings, consistency is key.
