Calathea lancifolia ‘Rattlesnake’ Noah 7"
Calathea lancifolia ‘Rattlesnake’ is a striking prayer plant with long, lance-shaped leaves patterned in bold dark-green markings over a light-green background. The undersides flash deep purple, creating contrast that shifts as the leaves move in response to light throughout the day. A showstopper that thrives indoors with the right care.
Styled in a 7” Noah ceramic pot (rounded tripod design, speckled finish) with drainage. Rooted in our breathable, well-draining Androots soil blend — no repotting necessary.
Care Instructions
Light: Bright, indirect light is ideal. Can tolerate medium light, but avoid direct sun which can scorch the leaves.
Water: Keep soil consistently moist but not soggy. Allow the top ½ inch of soil to dry slightly before watering again.
Humidity: High humidity is essential. Benefits from regular misting, a pebble tray, or placement near a humidifier.
Soil: Requires excellent drainage while retaining moisture — our mix includes potting soil, orchid bark, charcoal, and perlite.
Temperature: Thrives in 65–80°F. Protect from drafts or sudden temperature changes.
Growth Tips: Calatheas are sensitive to fluoride and chlorine — use filtered or distilled water if possible. Rotate occasionally for even growth.
